Bird Removal

Our first step in the bird control process is the physical removal of any nests, nesting birds or loose birds inside of buildings. Cleaning of debris and organic material will give us a better idea of any damages left behind. Nests can also be fire hazards, clog drains or cause other safety concerns. Occasionally, bird traps will be used for flocks or larger properties. For persistent birds and larger flocks, our bird removal professionals may use spikes, mylar tape, bird calls, scare tactics, and more.

Birds can damage siding, remove insulation and create gaps or holes in your home or business. This allows for other pests to come in if not repaired correctly. Bird Spikes

Bird spikes are a great deterrent for pigeons and other roosting birds. They are affordable, easy to install and require practically zero maintenance. They can work long-term across a multitude of sites. With long, dull tips, bird spikes do not harm the animals just prevent them from landing in a desired zone. Most are stainless steel and will not damage your structure. The only caveat is their appearance may not be desirable in certain areas.

Aromatic Bird Repellent

Nontoxic pouches filled with methyl anthranilate (grape-seed extract) are proven to work against multiple bird species. The natural product aggravates their mucous membranes causing them to avoid the area. These pouches can last up to 3 months in dry open and semi-enclosed areas. This is a great temporary solution with more aesthetic appeal.

Other repellents that we may use include UV lights, high frequency noise makers, and reflective tape depending on the circumstances.
