Detailed Termite Treatment, Inspections, & Repair

Termite Infestation? Bite back before it's too late!

Like a tiny demolition team with an insatiable appetite for destruction, termites can easily eat through just about any piece of wood in your home. Depending on how early you detect the problem, termite damage can range from nibbles to serious structural damage. Either way, Pest Patrol will guarantee our termite extermination and termite damage repairs.

Rid Your Home of Termite Infestations

We are San Diego's trusted termite exterminators.

Termite infestations can cause extensive structural damage to a home, leading to thousands of dollars in damage without even knowing. It’s important to get a termite inspection done by a licensed pest professional every 1 to 3 years. According to the National Pest Management Association, termites cause nearly $5 billion in property damage each year in the United States alone. Unless you live in a stone castle, your property is likely at risk of a termite infestation.

In most cases, our team of experts can fully restore termite damaged wood. In other cases where termite damage is more extensive, Pest Patrol can replace the damaged beams and boards, restoring your home back to order. When you hire our team of fully licensed and insured professionals, we will locate the source of your problem and eradicate it swiftly. Our methods are environmentally safe and responsible, in addition to being EPA approved. With over 40 years experience, we confidently provide you with a 100% guarantee that you will see results.

Luckily, there are ways you can remain proactive when it comes to termites. Take a look at our list below for some of the most common warning signs of a termite infestation.

Our Termite Services

1. Fumigation

When drywood termites are in large numbers and are infesting inaccessible locations, a full structure fumigation is likely the best option for complete eradication. Pest Patrol’s experienced team can make this intimidating process a straightforward solution to your termite problem. A free inspection can help determine whether this method is recommended, and our admin team can help make this experience stress-free.

2. Localized Treatment

A localized termite treatment is a great option to eliminate termite infestations when a full-structure fumigation is not needed or preferred. Pest Patrol offers localized chemical, eco-friendly Orange Oil, or chemical-free heat treatments that are affordable and effective.

3. Termite Repair

Our expert carpenters are unparalleled in San Diego for the level of skill and professionalism they bring to all projects. From decks and patio covers, to fascia boards, roof sheathing and attic rafters, our licensed and insured repair crew will restore your structure to its original integrity and style.

Common Warning Signs of a Termite Infestation

Here are 6 common warning signs of termites infesting your home.

  1. Termite Droppings

Drywood termites leave behind small mounds of droppings after consuming wood, known as frass. These mounds closely resemble small dry quinoa.

  2. Bubbling Paint

Termites create moisture when eating and tunneling. When that moisture travels to the paint surface, it can create bubbly or peeling paint that resemble water damage.

  3. Discarded Wings

These wings are left behind by the swarmers, who will often venture out when the colony has reached a certain size.

  4. Tight Fitting Windows & Doors

Due to the moisture created by termites when they eat and tunnel, it can cause distortion to the wood framing, making it difficult to open and close affected doors and windows.

  5. Squeaky Floorboards

Similar to above, when the moisture from the termite colony warps the wood, your floorboards may become especially squeaky. Along that same line, depending on the type of flooring you have, you could also notice loose tiles or sagging or laminate.

  6. Hollow Sounding Wood

Drywood termites create tunnels or cavities when they eat through the wood of your home. When you tap or knock on an area that is affected by termite damage, it will often sound hollow or voided.
